Loading configuration files

Is loading configuration files broken in the new version 1.4.2 ?

Any advice appreciated... Just upgraged my Winuae to the latest one and although the floppy paths show up properly when I load up my configs, they disappear as soon as I start the emu... The initial amiga disk screen just pops up. I press F12 to get back to the setup screens and the floppy paths have vanished. If I do browse and select the ADF's again from here it then loads and works happily but all my configs appear to do this now.

Any ideas as to whether theres anyway to get it to hold on to the floppy paths in the configs or am I stuck with fishing for ADF files in huge directories..?

Can I assume that you have used configs from a very recent version of winUAE and not the older ones from 8.x etc ??

Yeah... I had definitely had more than 1 version post version 1.

I've since found that I can get it to retain the path by allowing it to lose it by loading up the config and then starting it... then if I bang f12 and pop in the same paths again then resave it. It works.... Bizarre.

I had counted out just loading and resaving them cos that alone didn't work. Must need me to actually re-establish the path from fresh then re-save.

Its very odd. I'd have put my money on something having gone wrong with my latest installation since I can see no similar complaints from other folk on the same subject. I have tried overwriting that with a fresh unzip from a fresh download but that didn't make any difference to it.

Still, at least got a way of sorting it for now.
