Well deserved prize. One of the most originals on the compo. But lighshaft also was an awesome demo.

I agree that Lightshaft was also great, but Motocross was just fast and fresh Hope they don't set a 'trend' though and every demo will look like that next year

Indeed it was it's 'freshness' that made the difference.

Because these scene parties rule!

For me it was a first to see live such an event. And I must say it was quite enjoyable apart from some appalling and boring entries on some compos.

That was the third Breakpoint I've watched over the stream and I look forward to it every Easter! I earn myself a big hang over on Good Friday and then spend the next 2 days watching demos

The first Breakpoint I watched live was when FR- Debris was released. The atmopshere was something else and you could pick that up through the stream. There was loads of cheering, clapping etc through out the whole demo but there was nothing quite like that this year. No Hollywood demos

This was my first breakpoint and I hope next year I can be at the Partyplace!
I'll release stuff on it. I got to!

I really want to make the Amiga rise of this year continue and be further advanced.
I wanted Motocross Jesus Christ to win and I am glad it did. Lightshaft by Elude was just the SAME as Soliloquy and with a choppy framerate. It did not deserve to win.

The Loonies 4K was amazing and a well deserved first position.

Blitter Sweet should have been disqualified. Sorry Photon, but shame on you for releasing something that was published here like a year before. I hope next time you make something new, for the sake of the Amiga's moribund scene, and a bit modern, we're almost 20 years past 1990 :P Do you need people working with you? I'd gladly help provide graphics and/or music.

For me it was first Breakpoint too, I read about BP in 2007 for the first time and in 2008 I was too busy even to watch online (and now I am too lazy to travel few hundred kms to see ). This year I planned to check Amiga demos and next year Im gonna watch at least everything related with Amiga,C64 (and maybe PC if I will be in lack of gray), watching it and sharing feelings with other guys was cool

Indeed Sensi. Our 'live' thread was great fun.
