Is there really a virus in the original Turrican3 disk or what?

It's been a quite long while since I found out about this but to keep a long story short, I seem to remember my original Turrican3 Amiga disk used to trigger a virus warning (XCopy or Cyclone perhaps?)

So I was wondering whether this was actually true or not...

Any help would be appreciated.

Turrican 3 is a trackloading game, if you can run the game, there is no virus on your disk. X-Copy probably just gave a message about a non-standard bootblock.

No, it will be a "false positive".

Turrican 3 is a non dos disk with a custom bootblock, any virus will render the disk not bookable.

A false positive is where the virus killer looks for either text or certain snippets of code to determine a known virus, and its simply the case that the bootblock that Turrican 3 has, has code that in part is the same as a known virus.

Thanks guys, that's reassuring!

@StingRay
I will doublecheck as soon as I can but I'm fairly sure the error message specifically mentioned a virus (not that it makes any difference now)
