Hello from Germany
Hi all I'm Pete, a Finn living in Germany. Having lurked at various Amiga sites for some time, I think that registering here as well as at a1k.org will be the best of the English-speaking and German Amiga communities. And English is still a bit easier than german for me
I was a Commodore/Amiga fanatic from the late 80s until the late 90s. Started with a C64C and had a variety of Amigas from an A500 to A3000D, a CD32, and ending up with a towered A1200 with a Blizzard PPC accelerator. Sold the last bits around 1998/9. The virus was dormant for many a year with only occasional minor infections which accumulated a few Commodores and Amigas that ended up in storage over the years. That is until last year when the old bug hit with full force and I started restoring and upgrading my collection of old machines. Here I hope to find like-minded people to connect with, and hopefully learn useful stuff about electronics and programming on the side. |
