Pang could've been as good as Pang?!? I thought Pang for the Amiga is as good as Pang on the Arcade (MAME anyway). Maybe I should try to find an arcade machine and try it there to compare.

Akira meant that as Pang was so good, another arcade conversion (Snow Bros) would probably be great too.
Or in Akira Pseudo Code: If Pang = Developer A and Pang = Good and Snow Bros = Developer A then Snow Bros = Good {Probably} |

Because it's Amiga
Of course this was a fan's standpoint, duh :P If the game is done by a shite group then it prolly is shite. The pang team was ace IMO |

Someone asked for some pics of Snow Bros?
I found a magazine where this game had previewed! Here's a pic of Computer+VideoGames dated May 1991. Inside, two pages with pictures and some very early info. The guy typing the article said they had a look at a pre-production version and they were ready to review the game the next month...but, as we know, the game disappeared... As the page scan was too much for this forum even resized, colour decreased, pixel minimized, splitted in two pics, etc... I decided to put it in The Zone, for anyone interested. Now, we are waiting for the game! |

Day of the Tentacle. Commodore wanted to port this to the Amiga themselves in 1994 (at least according to a German magazine from that time). Just imagine Purple Tentacle in AGA style, maybe even with full speech on the CD32

That would have been great, Creosote. I heard of that too. The same game was to be ported to the NES and never made it [Maniac Mansion did].

Wow, forgotten all about this thread! I'd never heard of Sam & Max being converted, but I do recall the DOTT rumours being reported in "The One", alongside Rebel Assault.
Unfortunately I think it was only a month or so later CBM went bust. Going on topic, there was another CD 32 project I seem to recall that the Project X developers/Team 17 were doing "King of Thieves", wasn't it? Does anyone know or remember anything much about that one. I can only vaguely recall screenshots that reminded me of Defender of the Crown. And after all this time, I still can't remember the race car game Stavros Fasolus was going to do,(or maybe he did do it!). |

Softgold once planned to let NEON (e.g. Mr. Nutz) produce Turrican 4 - shame they didn´t....
http://www.nemmelheim.de/turrican/files/neon-t4.html And "Miss Honeybee and the Shock of Magic" by Kaiko was never finished... http://www.nemmelheim.de/kaiko/honeybee/index.html http://www.nemmelheim.de/kaiko/images/kaiko2.jpg |

Yep, Shatterhand... I have the Green 5 playable demo (which seems quite a beautiful game, similar to Another World/Flashback, still searching for a complete 4 disks version!) and the pics of Dragon Slayer... this game was previewed on some magazines years and years ago but never released... It's a pity, because the graphics looks very very good!

I dunno, like I said last year , there´s a series in MSX called "Dragon Slayer", and the 4th game in the series is a platform game.
Also, when this game was released for the MSX 1 system (it was a MSX 2 game first), I saw an advert for it like "Now this amazing game for MSX2 and Amiga, is available for your MSX1 !" This advert was from a pirating group, so it isnt too trustable. |

First of all
Greetings to all (this is my first post here ) I clearly remember that Traveller Tales have made mention to the sequel to Leander in the ending sequence of the game. The tentative title was Tigrender. They said that Leander is greek for Lion Man, while Tigrender means Tiger Man. Sadly i don't have any other info about this project. Palace Software started developing a remake of Barbarian in late '91 (Super Barbarian, if I remeber well). There are some pictures of the game in an old issue of The Games Machine (italian version). I'll try to find it and give you the scans. |

Was there any demo or screenshots to Seventh Sword of Mendor? Where can they be obtained from?
