A2000 Fast CPU Port - Signal Information

Hello my fellow EAB'ers.

Wow its been a while since I have posted a thread - so it's fitting it should be hardware related.

Currently I am creating *something* for the FAST CPU port of the A2000, however after much research I am struggling to find more information on the following Signals.

[pin 11] _COPCFG
[pin 20] _BOSS
[pin 14] _C3
[pin 16] _C1

_COPCFG is multiplexed by U606[ 74LS32 ] for each Zorro II port CN601 to CN605 and changes state pending CFGOUT1 to 4 and CFGIN1 to 4

Does anyone have any good sources to read for this signal?

_BOSS from what I have managed to find out is AND'ed with _BGACK [pin 62] by U303[ 74F08 ] - how is _BOSS set ?

From my study I have isolated both _C3 as a quadrature clock - CCKQ and _C1 is CCK (pixel clock?) but are these shifted since they are premised by "_" ?

Thanks for reading, any help is invaluable.

The _COPCFG is mentioned as carrying the 'Configuration Out' function here: http://amigadev.elowar.com/read/ADCD.../node00FE.html

Perhaps it is the same as AUTOCONFIG(tm) _CFGOUT outputs on common Zorro slots. Need to read more on how CPU slot is handled in A2000

PS Check page 94 of http://classiccomputers.info/down/Co...anual_1987.pdf for the description of _COPCFG and _BOSS signals

Cheers mate Glad to see you being up to something!

I guess you've already figured those clocks signals as well. Anyway, _C1 is said to be
Code:
3.58 MHz clock synched to the falling edge of the 7.16 MHz system clock.
Also known as /CCK in some places. Pin 16
Cannot find /C4, perhaps it is a typo. _C3 is there:
Code:
3.58 MHz clock synched to the rising edge of the 7.16 MHz system clock.
Also known as /CCKQ in some places. Pin 14
