Looks like Commodore was ahead of the curve on their Amiga branding design in 1985, not just their Amiga tech.

Plus the word Aiga means "water" in my family language (occitan). And Amiga means "female Friend", as in spanish and catalan.

Isn't the Amiga logo the Garamond/Garamont font?

Garamond is a group of many serif typefaces, named for sixteenth-century Parisian engraver Claude Garamond, generally spelled as Garamont in his lifetime.
