@BarrySWE:

Isnt the connector on the elbox tower for pc keyboards?

If so, you should not plug it in as even if amiga and pc keyboards have the same connector, they are not compatible.

The original keyboards shipped with the A4000D had 5-pin miniDIN connectors, while A2000, A3000 and A4000T keyboards had those 5-pin DIN connectors. The keyboard on that picture has the same white colour as an A4000, so it is most likely a replacement keyboard from the Escom era (A4000T).

@AMIGAZ:

So you have a 5-pin DIN connector that you can connect amiga keyboards to on your elbox tower? This is most reasonable for A4000 towers as you already have a keyboard if you have an A4000.

When reading on the elbox pages for A1200 towers, it states that you can have an optional pc-keyboard interface with it, which I assume then will use the same 5-pin DIN connector at the back?

What I am trying to say is that if he is using a pc keyboard with his A1200T at the moment, he cant just plug an amiga keyboard in it.

My towerhawk psu/keyboard adaptor allows me to use both a pc and amiga k/b... the elbox allows that too AFAIK, I have one spare

after checking you need a 2000 or 4000 keyboard
