Yeah me too turrican3, I am not trying to piss on anyone's bonfire but it would be nice to just have a complete re-vamp and vote for only games that have not been played and although it does happen, only 4 times a year is a little stale

Fully agreed.
1 open round per season would be enough (but with 2 games). |

I see where you guys are coming from but the current system gets my vote.
There's a lot of games I'd like to play that have been done before.. 4 times a year doesn't seem very often but of course you guys have been playing a lot longer than me Also, these are 'open' rounds right? So nothing to stop people voting for new games any way.. won't the voting speak for itself? |

1. Pinball Fantasies
2. Slam Tilt 3. SWIV 4. Apidya 5. Lotus 3 About the whole Stones and Bones thing: I would love to play it as it is probably my favourite table but I still think the potential for things going wrong is too high with this. I have certainly had issues in the past (I thought it was in the AGA version but if that was apparently fixed I could just as easily have been playing the standard one). And on the Open Rounds debate: who is right, you can vote for anything. Indeed the very first open round we ran a new game got voted in. A lot of people like them for the very reason that they missed some favourite games first time round (this competition has been going for a while now and an awful lot of players have come and gone in the last five and a half years) and I think a few people think we don't go far enough. But for the foreseeable future I think four games (maximum, out of 17 a year) that are 'repeats' is pretty reasonable, personally. |

Voting is now over and here's how it currently stands...
1. Pinball Fantasies - 30 2. Lotus 2 - 30 3. Slam Tilt - 11 4. Great Giana Sisters - 10 5. SWIV - 10 Total votes: 17 - Total games voted for: 49 Although the top two are tied on points, Pinball Fantasies currently edges it due to receiving four first-place votes to Lotus 2's three. |
