What resolution & frequency is "default" ?
Don't have the slightest idea where to look to see what monitor profile is used, so i thought i'd ask here. I'm in the process of hassling LG for some support on the TV they sold me a few years back, that wont display the output from the Indivision MKII, while my DELL monitor does. And they claim "any" DVI compilable signal is viable, now i want to know what the default output from the OS is, so i can work from there.
ClassigWB ADVSP, i guess that might be important? Side question. If one does changes to the monitor settings in the workbench, how does that translate to WHDLoad games? Do they use game native settings dissregarding everything else, or do WHDLoad enforce some sort of "follow the workbench settings" ? I assume it isn't the later, but i thought i'd sneak the question in. Thank you for your time and effort. |

are connecting TV through it then these are relevant specs : "The output pixel clock can go up to 135 MHz (the former Indivision AGA only allowed up to 71 MHz), the data rate reaches more than 480 MBytes/s peak performance (used to be 330 MBytes/s peak); 50 Hz modes (e.g. PAL) can be promoted to 60+ Hz and thus be displayed on modern monitors" Default resolution is 640 x 256 60 Hz for PAL Amiga 1200 and 640 x 200 50 Hz for NTSC Amiga 1200.Go to early startup menu and pres any key on the keyboard and they will change from PAL to NTSC. It shouldn't be I think ... Quote:
they were using.Only games that let you select a screenmode are affected and that is if you do select a screenmode. |

Well, still none the wiser. LG isn't being much help when i contact em, simply put, i doubt support has the knowledge, or the information to be able to answer my questions, and i'm not equipped with knowledge enough to know what i should really be asking, so i cant have them ask someone else either.
I'm going to start trying to get things working by trial and error to some extent. So far i haven't done anything but installed the unit, that must be well over a year ago. It's time to start trying out the new software, and see if it has a default setting that works, or if i have to play around with it more from there. |
