Only emulator here but I plan to buy CD32 (and maybe some cheap A600 with HD, maybe). I would buy something like Minimig but I want it 100% working and no waiting for updates etc.

Hallå där. Jag är från svensk Atari styrelsen. Kul att se dig
(blame Google for any mistakes )

Mainly emulator and my beloved A500. Not so much into upgrading it, but I would use almost anything that is available

None of these options.

I would say I'm an "Amiga tinkerer".

Well, I'm mainly an Amiga emu-user, but there's lots of other aspects of the Miggy that I'm interested in.

"Option 3 but with 'todays technology' upgrades
Anarchist - extreme case/motherboard/tweak modifying
Sega Master System
Emulator only for me
New conceptions of the Amiga - Minimig et al"

Pretty much covers the most of it. But the history regarding the technology of the Amiga, and the Amiga's place in the evolution of computer-hardware is also very interesting. It's a whole new world of discovery there, for me!

The Sega Master System option I took because it signals my non-exclusivity. I play loads of platforms. I think there's something to find on almost every one of them, really.

I rather prefer the Genesis to the Master System however.

Too many sweet upgrades available to be a stickler for stock and with the Indivision and IDE2CF adaptors, I'm all about enhancing the old with the new.

I'm a real Amiga user since 1992.
Updated nicely but never jumping onto unnecessary bullshit like PPC, towering, OS 3.5+, etc.

Would love an 060 for demowatching but I cannot justify the cost yet!

even though I've been an Amigian for all of five days now, I'm already in the "Anarchist" section. The official amiga floppy drive died and modded a PC drive to work - rolled my own null modem cable and use Amiga Explorer to make disks out of ADFs.

Next - being the proper OS geek that I am - working out how to run WB 1.3, 2.04 and 3.1 at will on the A500. Maybe hack in some more chip ram since I have the spots on my board.

Also - looking for an A1200 board to hack into an A500 case

i'm pretty much like akira, cept i bought my a500 in 89 and sold my 1200 in around 95, rediscovered the amigascene again at around 2000 again, when i saw someone had dumped an a500 in our trash, just fitted a ram expansion and needed some disks , bought my at that time dream machine an a4000 with cybergraphix and everything stuffed inside, but didnt really like it, coz it was big as a house and my girlfriend at that time was not happy with that , so I bought back my very own a1200 that i sold waaay back in 95 and got myself a 10gig harddrive and a bliz1260 with 64megs and have never looked back sadly it burned the sound channels this christmas holyday so right now i'm messing around with an a500 with kick 1.2 again lol coinsidence ?

Been with the Amiga since 1988 was always getting the latest and upgrading to the hilt until around 2001, now I am just happy to have a nicely souped desktop case A1200, been there with the tower case, ppc, blizzard vision now it is just nice to use the Amiga for writing music, animations and games ... pretty much the same as in the beginning

Now, just emulating. Then, Commodore and third-party upgrades (AdSpeed on the 500, an 030 board on the 1200) plus some hacks (hardware switches for PAL/NTSC, 512/1 meg chip, plus a homebrew Parnet cable and an adapter for a PC analog joystick).
