Where can I get Chuckie Egg 1
Hi Guys,
Is anyone able to upload Chuckie Egg1 for the Amiga to the Zone for me please? I wouldn't ask but I have tried to buy this game on eBay but have not come across it and I can't even find a website to download it from as it seems really rare! I have the original game for my Acorn Electon, C64 and ZX Spectrum and I would like to play the Amiga version for a comparison. I would be really grateful if someone could help me out and upload to The Zone. Believe me if I could buy the original I would but it just isn't there to buy. Thanks. I found the game eventually thanks to the excellent 'Hall of Light'. Now I need to test it on my A1200 to see if it works.

Glad you found it, if I had seen the post before I'd have zoned it...
Guessing you have a standard 2mb A1200? Have you tried WHDLoad? Many of the 1 disk classics work on a standard A1200 with 2mb. Steve. |

I have an A1200 with 2MB and an accelerator card with 32MB of fast RAM. I didn't think to try WHDLoad, I downloaded it from there also as a backup as per your suggestion. I would like to install it on my HDD so it may be useful. Thanks again for all your help. |

I wonder how HOL was a help here to find the game Just curious. Anyway, it's always worth to have a look at the compilation disks of TOSEC aswell. On the EAB file server folder 'TOSEC/Compilations/Games' for example (Ikari & GBh - Captain Fizz & Chuckie Egg (1989)(GBH - Ikari).zip).

Lol, this heat must be getting to my brain. I completely forgot about the EAB server. That would have been my first port of call. Thanks for reminding me. |
