Screen format of IPF BC Kid
Hello to all, today i have a precise question about BC Kid.
A friend transfered for me this game (id 0435) with the Kryoflux and i am surprised and perplex because the game is vertically fullscreen on my PAL amiga. At first i believed that the code switched to NTSC mode (and graphically it seems !!!), but the music is playing at the correct rythm for a PAL machine. Can someone light my mind about this ??? |

Oh thank you a lot Galahad for this information, interesting inded .
Do i have to conclude that the graphical objects are vertically streched in comparison with the "non faked" PAL cracked versions ? Correct me if i am wrong but i don't remember that my cracked version was vertically fullscreen. A feature removed by the crackers ??? Or is there any original version else than the IPF 0435 that didn't use a fake 60hz mode but real 50hz PAL only ? |

Fake or "real" NTSC won't make a difference. Game probably uses CIA timed music player.

Yeah, BC Kid uses "fake ntsc" method but refresh rate is weird ~56.5Hz.

It explains all, thanks you so much guys for these informations .
Are the graphical objects vertucally streched in the fake mode ? Horizontally the screen doesn't seem to be larger that's why i ask (i can't compare by myself the original and corrected screens at this second). |

Talking about the (otherwise fast-loading and great for Minimig) Dual Crew release, is there an ADF without the main character glitched graphics when he's looking to the left? He has garbled head when doing so.
