network programming?

Despite the Amiga being an online machine (especially these days!) I struggling to find any resources regarding network programming - anyone able to point me in the right direction?

Im not expecting any high level libs for Amiga like you find for pc these days, but maybe some sockets or something? Would like to start by faffing around calling http addresses and reading the responses.

Just any httpget.c example on the net should do with little tweaking.

Example:

File Type: lha httpget.lha (5.4 KB, 47 views)

There's also an httpget.c example in the AmiTCP SDK.

Note that the AmiTCP example is a bit convoluted since it made to be as small as possible, avoiding use of C std libraries.
