Hi,
as mentioned in private, ADFW will support raw Warp (not MFM). Decompression is not ensured because like DMS, it exploits several compression algorithms that are not yet implemented. However, ADFW can identify the content.
Other exotic formats are not considered because they are marginal and XAD does the job well.
ADF Workshop is mainly used for the analysis of ADF files. Due to many internal changes, ADFW is still experimental at the moment...

Basically:
Raw = ADF
MFM = extended ADF
MFM files may contain protections or special formats.

Glad to see ADFW development continues behind the scenes.

That tool is great and improvements are just welcome.

This looks promising.

Is it possible to detect duplicate adfs in collections?

You could check for duplicate CRC32, but it would be helpful if there was an additional CRC32 computed without the first 2 sectors (boot sectors). The boot sectors may have been overwritten by viruses, virus killers and virus protectors... This would result in a different CRC32 even if the rest of the disk image is identical.

Probably you mean this feature:

Quote:
CRC32 based identification :
Common disk_____*[007B7039] This file
|_Bootblock______[ECCCEC05] Last Ninja Music, The (1989)(RSI)[v Blizzard v1.0][KS1.2]

According to the databases i have loaded an unknown ADF[007B7039]
but there exists a known ADF[ECCCEC05] with different bootblock(virus infected).

Just getting my head around this tool... One thing I've noticed, which I don't know how this is best to be answered...

This example :
disk.info | 2.440|039BE706|KO|OK|OK|1993.02.04 20:33|Deleted

I haven't found an option on how to undelete the file ... which would fix my ADF file.
CRC look ok, and is highlighted green. Would there be a byte or something that could mark these sectors as not deleted?
