Been playing the hell out of this since yesterday. Runs well on my setup as expected. Really fun, really enjoyable racing game. The car handles great and quite realistic I find. There is a nice element of speed too and also difficulty just on the handling and tracks alone.
We should get a table going on times for the default tracks. I find already I'm killing myself trying to beat the lap records but that's part of the fun! Thanks once again BSzili for porting this to the Amiga, appreciate it. What system did this game come out on originally as I can find nothing on it? It's a fairly modern game right? |

I have changed the colour of the car a few times now, but I can only do this by going into copper demon and getting colour codes from here to try out. Where can I find the codes for colours normally? I presume there is a better way than what I have been doing?

Great to hear it's working well for you! I had a quick look at carcolor.cfg and it seems to use RGB colors in a hexadecimal #RRGGBB format. Any program that can produce "HTML colors" should be good, for example:

Having a WYSIWYG track editor would be awesome. it is rather difficult to draw a track currently...

I am convinced that BsZili, with a nice 320x240 resolution and a lot of optimization, would be able to make it work even on 68k! |
