That's cool, I've got to admit I've been really enjoying watching old 8-bits coping with some demos! Some of the coders out there are so impressive.

The bit I remember most from the original demo was the bit with the circular SAW blade, is that in the C64 remake? I havent watched it all yet.

Amazing...

I'd say that the Desert Dream is my favourite Amiga demo - really great & really fast routines.

To do all that on the C64?

Full power coding!

Has anyone checked could the secret part be entered in the same way like in the Amiga version?

Can I get a hell yeah...!

If you can do a funky, gritty SINGING robot voice like that on a VIC-20, why did nobody ever do it on the C64?

I know there were real-time speech synths for the C64 but I've never heard them sing!

If anybody knows of something like this on the C64 I'd love to see it.

I remember seeing a better quality video of Robotic Liberation where the sound and video was in sync. Anybody knows where it is?

Lots of videos on youtube seem to have this problem, I guess sync gets lost in the conversion to their flash video format..

*edit*

Some misc. info on the demo by the author, and a 55MB XviD video!

Oh man...

...just checked out that video of Robot Liberation.

That VIC20 (how do you that on a VIC20???!!!) demo kicks arse!

Bow very low if you meet the guy who coded that one...
