High Scores?

One of the other web forums I visit, www.atariage.com, has a weekly high score competition (one game per week, per machine).

Any interest in doing something like that here at EAB?

Is it done elsewhere?

Any way to limit/stop cheating? On AtariAge they allow the use of real hardware and emulators, and they trust the users to be honest.

We have already had a highscore comp if you search.

But I'm not interested as I think many will cheat

There's also a site/forum somewhere that is dedicated to highscore competition for all systems..... if I remember right..

edit... the name was Twin Galaxies I think.

I did search, but came up with tons of results just searching for "high score". I also see the screenshots over at recordedamigagames.com but didn't see anything specific.

Can you post a link to the thread?

TwinGalaxies is like the Guinness Book of World Records for video games. I'm looking for something a little less serious.
