mp3@64 in amiga 1200d

yo!

is it possible to fit the mp3@64 hardware inside an amiga 1200 desktop case? i have tried the default way so far but it is impossible so far cos

1) it wouldn't fit on the clockport cos the kickstart chips are in the way, unless you buy a clockport riser

2) if you do the end of 1) then the next problem would be that the mp3@64 wouldn't fit between the mobo and the keyboard.

is there a solution to this?

cheers

@CU_AMiGA

cable adapter

to make your own you will need a cut down 44pin cable and some pins

the cable yes, but the connector is to big, you need a smaller connector, like that of a 44pin ide cable

also try and keep it short, under 7cm's

Unless you've already got a suitable donor cable wouldn't it be much simpler to just buy a clockport extension cable from AmiKit?
