hired guns
how much chip-RAM and memory does this game need to work perfect?
i read on a site that this game needs high chip-RAM for the SFX. i have an Amiga 500,uppgraded to 1mb chip-RAM and 1mb memory..is this enough or does it have to be way higher than that? excuse my bad english(if it is bad that is) |

i tested the demo of the game in winuae.
i used 1 chip-ram and 1 slowmemory and it seemed to work good. but the demo isnt the same thing as the real game,right? and slow memory,what is that exactly? please help me out,im not good at this as you can see. |

it ran perfectly with a bare A1200, i.e. 2 mb ram total.

I've played HG on pretty much the same A500 setup as you have with no problems at all.

AFICR Hired guns even works on a bare A500, with no SFX. If it finds extra chip mem during boot, it uses it for the SFX and you should see a message indicating this (extra mem utilised or something.)
