Long shot... Empire Mission

Hi all,

just found this great site, its so cool to catch up on the old amiga games.

I have been going through all my old games and ticking off ones that i simply could not finish... like Speedball 2 today! finally beat super nashwan

anyways... here is the longest shot for an old amiga game...
  • possibly an indian coder
  • written in amiga basic
  • pretty sure it was called empire mission
  • may have been on a compilation disk with monopoly basic
basically you start with a few cruisers, you can travel around by clicking on stars that were about the size of a pixel on the star map. you bought a persuadertron so you could get extra space cruisers on most stars you visit, you bought and sold materials to make credits and you could buy a mothership. eventually you ran into the empire fleet and would have a huge battle. fight scenes were simply the computer counting down fleet points you had until one side was out.

ah the golden days, i spent alot of time to trying to figure the code and it was my first hacking experience!

would love to get my hands on this

thanks
d

Isn't this game simply called Empire? I've not played it, but I have it somewhere, and your description sounds familiar.

If the OP had spelled the "B... Headlam" thing correctly, I would have found it earlier!

Try to look on this games disk of B. H. - could indeed be on there:
