I haven't asked the seller a few questions, like what rom version, whether the A590 has been fitted with 2mb ram. But It doesn't matter really, 'cause as a package it gives me what I need and more. I am guessing the HD+ still has the old XT drive, but what a bonus if it has a scsi... LOL The game collection will be interesting to sift through as well. Might be a gold mine...

Probably be a week before I have it, due to it's size and the distance. But I'll update on my find, as I go through the swag.

Blimey. That's an alright deal is that. I reckon the 590 alone is worth what you paid for the whole lot. Nice one.

to be honest this is a good solution

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/New-External-T...QQcmdZViewItem

i am sure that you could get it a little cheaper... (just keep an eye on the max screen size definition you seriously dont want to drop bellow 800x600)

good luck m8y

Goodies here!!!!!

It arrived today and all appears to work. A590 has an XT drive which seems to have an issue, each time I try to set up using the A590 setup disk, I get "Error -1 on write!". But a scsi replacement should sort that. It has 2 meg on board, and the A500 has the ram expansion. So I have 3 meg total. 1.3 roms unfortunately, so I might look for an update there. Heaps of disks, and a external floppy. The Star printer has a spare ribbon too. And the 1084S is flawless. All for $54.10 + $50.00 post.

Woohoo!! Seventh Heaven.....

It was your lucky day.... I had to work late that day, I'd have bidded up to $150ish if I had to.

The day before(?) I also worked late, and missed out on those 5 competition pros that went for about $35. By the time I got in and logged on, I had 7 seconds to place my bid. Not good for dialup.
