Smile Familiar tale

Hi all,

greetings from Calgary, Canada.

I'm sure my tale is very similar to a lot people out there.
Lived in the UK until a few years ago.
But back in the early 90s, I got a 500+, and had a blast with it.
Never did quite get the 1200 I always wanted though.

Fast forward a fair few years, got another 500+ (pal version as that's what I know) sharing it with my oldest kid, which is proving to be a lot of fun, but now I really want to me MY 1200.

So, the hunt goes on.
I'm over in the UK this Summer, so I hope to have something lined up for getting over there, or maybe have a hunt around whilst there.

Anyways, hello everyone, nice to see the Amiga scene still buzzing.

Stu

Hi Stu, and welcome to EAB!

It's always good to have another Amiga enthusiast on board!

I wish you luck in finding an A1200. Good choice.

And I hope you enjoy your visit to the UK this year.

thanks fellas.

actually since the pound is way down against the dollar right now, I don't mind so much the price, it's just trying to find the right deal.

I have my 500 hooked up to a nice little 19inch LCD monitor, and it's looking mighty nice !
