Here's one... do people prefer buttons on the actual stick or just a stick with buttons on the base? I prefer the latter

and what about analog sticks? or control pads with a little stick instead of a d-pad? I really like the Neo Geo controller with the thumbstick "thingy" instead of a d-pad

Joysticks are the best for most classic retro games and arcade style games But control pads are pretty much essential for current console games.... and the good old keyboard and mouse combo is great for many PC games and of course it would be criminal not to use a joystick for flight sims

Nice idea but mouse buttons should really not be that small!! I don't think i could ever get used to the position of that d-pad either! There probably is no use for that with a Nes.... and i am guessing it's not real

.....Would make a good doorstop though

Analog sticks are pretty inaccurate for platformer, you need a D-pad or sticks with microswitches for a responsive and accurate control.

Unless of course you are playing a 3D platformer... but i agree you need a D-pad or a good joystick for 2D platformers

Those people suck and must be a bit "special" or they could just be little teenage Nintendo fanboys with too much pocket money

I can't believe one of them even referred to it as "epic" .... yes an epic failure... which is probably why it was never created

But as they say opinions are like arseholes, everyone' got one.

You DON"T have to apologize for expressing your opinion. Otherwise EVERY discussion here about a game can be simply ended before its begun with one reply: "thats YOUR opinion, its not mine, lets not discuss it". What's the point.
You are like talking to a brick are you not? let me SAY IT AGAIN!... the MAJORITY of the MARKETING for MARIO took place in AMERICA where the NINTENDO was VERY POPULAR!... OK!!.. NOW.. the AMIGA was mostly popular in EUROPE/ENGLAND as were most home computers such as the C64, ZX SPECTRUM, AMSTRAD..etc... so the MAJORITY of feedback for Mario over the years was influenced by a NAIVE and MORONIC AMERICAN audience that had VERY LITTLE experience with an ALTERNATIVE platform such as the the AMIGA!!

And this FORUM is not EVERY AMIGA user that EVER LIVED!!!... you have hand picked this point from comparing ONE FORUM to the whole NINTENDO COMMUNITY!!! ... Fuck mate, are you 12,20 or 30 ??

MILLIONS of people say GOD/JESUS is real, but is EVERYONE going to agree!??.. NO!!!.... many used to ask me, WELL IF THE AMIGA WAS SO GOOD WHY IS IT THE AMIGA/COMMODORE IS GONE !???... Its because they did not MARKET THE MACHINE!, like Nintendo MARKETED MARIO!!!!... Windows is THE most popular OS on the planet, not because its GREAT, but because its been MARKETED EXTREMELY WELL!!!!, and due its early business applications, but it is FAR FROM THE BEST.

SO DO YOU GET IT YET!!??... IS IT SINKING IN????

ok.. now, time to move on from this USELESS thread!

Naive and moronic? I love it when a someone outside the states has such great insight into our country. Cause, you know, were everthing like you see in the US made movies. Yup, that's us to a "T". No such thing as diversity here. Nope. And never mind that Mario was extremely popular in Japan. But hey, they're naive and moronic too, right?

I guess that's why the GB/GBA/NDS was so popular in the rest of the world. You guys turned into naive and moronic gamers too. Welcome to the family
