Problem with SoundFX
Are there any SoundFX whizzes out there? I'm trying to use it to record audio through my GVP DSS8+, but when I press the record button the record window opens and then the Amiga freezes. A1200, 030 accelerator. Winuae works fine, same config, same CF card.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance |

What audio mode do you have used? Try Paula:8 bit stereo and 22kHz for example. Maybe try a different record source.

there is also ahirecord for recording, for editing samplemanager, try it on aminet

I remember hanging the record window on my A1200 but not what was the causer. If it was a bug in SoundFX the latest version should fix it. Maybe it was some patch/program running in the background.

Thanks for the alternatives saviour, but I'd like to use SoundFX so if I can get it working with advice from here, that'd be best.
Daxb, I had such a nightmare getting it running in the first place, as I had to get the version from the Amiga future cd so I could get the license. Not sure if I could update to the latest version without losing the license? Also, I'm inexperienced in these matters which doesn't help |
