Hi, what configuration should i use to get rid of the horrible talking in the game? so i can just read the txt.

I searched but couldnt find anything.

To turn off speech:

freeze on some Amiga's .

Take from LSD docs.

So use this config in WinUAE:
Model: A500/A2000
Configuration: 1.3 ROM, OCS Agnus, 512KB Chip RAM
Disable all external drives.

using the last version of operation stealth might help as well :-). they removed this awful speech there...

Operation Stealth had have a speech version are you serious ?
I want to see it then.
If there is a speech french version ? please to the zone.
Or an english one could be great too.

It's a joke ? It really exist ? Can believe that i miss it during 15 years ??????

It's speech as in computerized speech and it's absolutely horrible.

I suppose it's something like the computer speech which come with the workbench ?

But yes, it IS computer speech as the one that comes with the workbench :-)

That's possible, we need more info about the game version and config being used by turrican3

This should be V4.0, you need probably V3.6 or V3.7 for this speech.

i tested it with winuae 1 mega chip no speak.
during the intro in the office when he has a meet with his boss, it speak from there or when the game really begin ?
perhaps there is no french speaking version that could explain why i never heard about this kind of version

It will be hard for a coder to make a 1200 version 256 colors from the 256 colors pc version ?
sorry if it sounds stupid but i know nothing about games codes

If the Amiga ever got a port of the delphine engine (Cine i think the port was called) then the 256c pc version should work fine i guess on a1200

I bought the Original to Operation Stealth when it was released, and i NEVER knew it had a speech option!!?!?!. The things you find out years later hey!.
