Boycot internet modem
Hi there. I'm trying to get my a500+(aca 500 plus) online for BBS via serial. In several places the boycot software is mentioned as way to easily acomplish this. Ive managed to find it, however, it doesn't seem to work on a 32 bit xp machine.(not a valid win32 app....) It works fine on my win10 system, but that doesn't have a serial port. Now I was wondering if anyone knows if there is also a version of boycot software's internet modem that works on a 32bit win XP machine. That would save me a complete reinstall of my com port machine. Hopefully someone here can help me out and tnx to anyone willing to try.

A USB to Serial adaptor works with this software on your Win10 machine.

Hi there and tnx 4 the suggestion. The serial port isnt the problem, just a 32 bit emulated modem, so I could keep usimg xp. Ive resolved it now however by installing win7 on the pc. The emulated modem now works and my a500 is onlime via serial now. However if anyone reads this and would know of a 32 bit version of boycot's internet modem of another working modem , Id still love to hear about it.

How about TPSER the Hayes modem emulator?

Hi there and tnx for the tip. I did find tcpser, but havent gotten it to work. Maybe the tutorial u posted will help me with that. Ad soon as im home i'll go try it. I'll post the results...
