Nice work!
Pretty slow, jumpy, etc on a 2mb A600, but on the 10mb A1200 it played VERY smoothly indeed. Can't wait for progress updates! PZ. |

Thanks guys, we're working as hard as we can, when we can. Progress is slow because we only have one graphic artist working full time on the game, with a few submissions from others. We'll be releasing a few different versions, one for expanded Amigas, one for low-end, one for CD32. Unfortunately not much can be done about the speed because of the program we're making the game with (Backbone, available on Aminet).
Underground Arcade is working on a few games which we hope to have out this year. If anyone would like to join our team, all you need is an interest in making games, but some coding, graphics or music skills are always helpful too. We'll try and release an updated demo in the next few weeks! |

Project: Halloween Nightmare
I hope this game is available in time for Halloween (UK). It looks greats. I like these types of platform games, especially cute ones like this, Magic Boy, Rodland, New Zealand Story etc.
Keep us posted as and when it will be available Paul. |

Hey everyone. I'm sorry but the planned full game won't be finished by Halloween this year, we just haven't had enough support to finish it yet. We are striving to bring out either a demo or a mini game by Halloween though. The graphics are taking a long time for our pixel artist to draw (it's all in 16 colours), and it looks like we may have lost our original music composer.
But I'm still definitely working on this game. I have my CD32 set up with a SX32 now, which is what I'm using to make games at the moment. I'm still making the game in Backbone, which means it won't run as smoothly as it would had we found someone to code the game, but it should still be playable on most Amigas with a hard drive (although extra RAM and a faster CPU will help greatly). |

@Skippy
Damn, I thought you might be kidding, but decided to believe you surfed with your ol' Miggy and didn't see the link. Stupid me @Damien Thanks for the hint at the demo. Will have a look on the weekend |

Well, I've just played it and I thought it was enjoyable. Music reminded me of The Addams Family and the graphics are cute Anime style. I tested it on an a1200 30@50 with 32MB Fast and CD32 Joypad and had no problems.
Awaiting the final release. Good work! Last edited by SkippyAR; 11 September 2008 at 18:28. |

@Cammy
It's just propositon, but maybe consider finishing game. It's looks very well, even if this Backbone. Main character is well animated (except crawling) and looks cute. Game is also interesting and it's really sad that's not finished. Maybe consider commercial release? I'll buy full version if price will be reasonable. And maybe try it in Red Pill, if assets are still available. It should be faster than backbone game and it's rather similar in usage. And may be in AGA version, because Red Pill supports AGA features. |

Solo Kazuki, maybe you don't know this but unfortunately Cammy / Rebel-CD32 had their Amigas / all equipment stolen a few years back so everything is gone
