Function keys quit working

Hi,
Ive been using winuae a long time, worked fine yesterday.
Today hitting F12 wont bring up the menu, and none of the keyboard shortcuts are working at all?

Never mind.
Dont know what happened but restarting my computer solved the problem

The function key just right of F12 may have been accidently turned off accidently when trying to press F12 which disables all function keys. Press it again to enable all function keys. No pc restart is required.

my laptop has multifunction buttons and I have to hit the FN button then F12 to get to the winuae menu

Is there a way to lock FN key in Windows 8.1 as I need F1-F12 keys, not volume and brightness?

hold the ESC key while pressing the FN key. Or try holding down the function key.

Or

function key setting is located in the Windows Mobility Center (just do a search for it in win7/8).

I don't have win8.1 so I can't test. Either way tell us your result.
