WinUAE does not support split (odd/even) roms yet. But it is easy to merge them.

Use MS-DOS comand copy
copy /B file1+file2 FileMerged

Merging with copy wont work. The data of the files needs to be interleaved on probably byte swapped. eLowar provided a tool to achieve that. Look at his post

i've just merges the two files and when i rescan the roms it is still unavaible. does it have to called something special, i have used the original file names in the zip

I use MIX2.exe from the zip of alexh and the merged file was recognize perfectly in WinUAE. The final file must end as .ROM.

yes it has the .rom extension but will not reconise it, i used mix2 and used u12 as even and u 13 as odd.

i got it working the u 13 is even and the u 12 is odd. :-)

Not keeping them long then? Average DVD-R dye lifetime is less than 5 years.
