whdloadcd32, joy2key2 and afterburner

Hello,

Apologies for the noob question!

I'm attempting to get the joy2key2 utility working with the whdload install of afterburner (sega). Basically my configuration just maps button2 on both controls to space, which works fine on amigados (running in winuae emulating a cd32) but doesn't appear to work once I've loaded the game.

Any ideas?

Edit: Looks like this won't work with WHDLoad games and maybe non-intuition games in general.

why do you use joy2key ?
I ask, because winuae can map any key to any button or any button to any key !

@turrican3 that's true, but this was for a CD32 compilation project (to be played on a real CD32 with only CD32 joypads) I was only using WinUAE to test my work in progress.

ah ok, it will not work with whdload, bacause whdload just isolate the game. It's not possible to use it with whdload, sorry.
But this is the price to pay for having a good hdinstall for any games which doesn't crash and can be played on every amiga hardware, it was the only way. For your keys mapping with whdload there still 2 solutions....
1st ask to the guy who did the slave if he want to add the button mapping. Sometimes they did it, they make games use cd32 joypad. They will accept or not.
2nd you learn how to make slaves and you do yours, the most difficult way !
Sorry if i wasn't helpfull.
