Best advice, thanks, no keyboard purchasing (for now, unless a cheap one drops in my lap)
Funny that, I still haven't received the CD32 and already looking for bits...I need counselling...hahahaha! PZ. |

Yep you and I think the same.... I'm collecting bits for an A1500 to convert to A2000HD + 030 before it's even arrived, oh and it has a fault that needs repairing too. but I can fix it....
Do you like the SX units?????? I want one for my CD32 too. Cheers |

Well the mouse does not respond to movements. So looking through the schems..
Possibilities 1) Fuse F1 supplying +5V to Joy & Mouse ports 2) 74LS device buffering the signals. 3) POT X & Y generated by Paula 4) Signals received by Denise.... However Last week I took delivery of a beauty A2000 with Flicker Fixer which went funny when I plugged the mouse in Whilst switched on (first time for anything!!!!) Found F1 O/C and replaced it with Temp component, and has been working perfectly since.... So I bet it's the same with this A1500.... Check out the Zone for 2 Fault find docs which rave posted after some discussion regarding faults, usefull for the future. Anyway I'm hi-jacking this thread so I'd better stop. |

Yeah, I had a similar mouse problem with one of my 600s.
Everyone said it was the multiplexer IC, so I purchased a replacement, but it wasn't surface mount like the A600 ones, so modding was required. While measuring to make a small adapting PCB I noticed an oxidised track which for some reason I'd not seen before, ran a bridge wire over it and all fixed...go figure Yeah, maybe we'd better end it here, but I'm too drunk to be bothered telling you the reply story by any other means!
