Try it with WHDLoad from CF Card. It should work, even with a stock A1200.

Why don't you play it straight from your PCMCIA CF Card with the WHDLoad installed version?

Hi PZ,

this should get you started : http://guide.abime.net/home3.htm
I know it's for WinUAE, but the steps should be the same for a real A1200.
For WHDLoad you should also have a look at Cody's WHDLoad FAQ : http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=5267
Happy installing then

You could try ppills's wonderful PCMCIA ClassicWB LITE version.

I don't think, that the very old EA titles work on a A1200 without WHDLoad. These bitches are very incompatible. Jotd had "a lot of fun" to fix them for hd.

Since you've got some extra ram, WHDLoad key and a PCMCIA adapter there really is little sense in playing old cracks unless you're into that.

Try the CF ClassiWB version (thanks for the plug R-N). You'll never look back. I think I even included a small utility that fixes that long delay at start-up. NoIDE or something. Anyway... go for it

no, sorry... meant there are two releases, the second being from the archon / adept rerelease (archon collection). i know that one runs better, but i am not sure if this was to make it work for 1.2 and the original was even worse. but might be worth trying to get both and compare.

just in case.
