Where can I get a 8375 Fat Agnus? (non-ebay)

I have this NTSC 8375 on my MiniMegaChip and I need a PAL one, does anyone know of somewhere or someone that has these? I'm regularly searching ebay.xx for them but no luck. I need a spesific one as you all might know they come in many types and they aren't all compatible. The one that was supplied on my MiniMegaChip is the 318069-11 NTSC.
I'm guessing the one I need is one of these:

Agnus (2MB) 8375 R0 318069-18 A500+ (PAL), A600 (PAL)
Agnus (2MB) 8375 318069-10 A600 (PAL)
Agnus (2MB) 8375 R2 318069-10 A500+ (PAL), A600 (PAL)

I know this is not what you want to hear but the only sources of these chips are A600 motherboards. I've never seen a shop selling them.

You will have to desolder the surface mount Agnus chip (preferably with a hot air gun).

I've just had an email from a company who says they have 2Mbyte Agnus chips in stock. Their price including shipping for one unit is not great at €40 but I'll see if they can do a deal if I buy 10.

They have not yet given me the exact product numbers for the chips they have so do not get your hope up yet.

thanks alex, is it amigafrance you are talking to? i've just sent them a mail.
this is by the way luff speaking, that you are bothered by on msn sometimes.

i think we spoke about the minimega and what 8375 to use before, and that we came to the conclusion that my MegAchip was not compatible with the 318069-10 but with the -18 or something? remember?

i might have given the wrong name when saying minimega, my card is the MegAchip 2000/500, that will be used in my cdtv when the right 8375 is mounted.

i have a friend with a cdtv and he has a similar MegAchip, bu his was PAL but the wrong model, so he bought a A600 that he will, as you say, unsolder and mount in the MegAchip. i don't think i can use the same model (?)

I thought that the conclusion we came to was that whatever the "flavour" NTSC 8375 Agnus currently installed in your MegAchip, you need the PAL equivalent. So if you have a 318069-11 then you need a 318069-10, if you have a 318069-19 then you need a 318069-18 and if you have a 390544-02 you need a 390544-01

I have the same board for my CDTV. Created by Dean Brown (DKB)

More details required.

@alexh

yes, i'm the confused one as usual, you are right we concluded the matter that the right one for me is 318069-10, because the one i have is 318069-11.
my friend has a 318069-19, and so he needs the 318069-18!

i got a quick response from amigacenter france, he had the 318069-10 in stock, i will ask him about the price for 1 and 10 chips respectively.

i also got a buyer for my 318069-11 (NTSC) in another forum, a u.s fellow with a similar card, but wrong chip like me.

btw. there's two different 318069-10, the R2 and the "not-R2". does both work in my megAchip (cdtv), or do i need the right one of them? must i ask the one i'm buying from if it is the R2 or not?

@amigakit

great! thanks please check if you have 318069-10 and also the 318069-18 which is what my friend needs.
if alexh finds a thirds alternative i will just have to compare prices between the three of you (i must say i didn't think i'd have to do that when i started searching for these rare chips

NTSC MegaAChip in CDTV

Has anyone tried plugging an NTSC MegaAChip into a CDTV? Would it not work at all, or would it not allow you to use the PAL output? Do all CDTV's have PAL chips in them, as they are PAL selectable in the CDTV setup menu?

Do I really have to patiently wait until I find an 318069-10!!!

Doesn't work, you'll have to wait.

Amiga Centre France are selling them, Amiga kit said he might have a few but not heard anything from them for a while.
