UK members: Anyone seen a big fat mag called Retro?

Today I went shopping with the missus (yawn) anyway I made a bee-line for WHSmith's and on the mag racks I found this big fat magazine named "RETRO"

This magazine is knocking out at £9.99 and looks more like a huge collection of retro mags stuck together. I was going to buy one but every single issue (about 6 or 7 that were left) were badly damaged on the corners, one even had a torn off front

So I walked away thinking I could track down the publisher online but stupid old me forgot lol

Has anyone seen or got this mag?

Im defo sure it wasnt retro gamer, I have always bought retro gamer up until the last one since rumours started to spread about its demise.

This mag is rather fat, its content loaded with stuff. The logo "Retro" was done using the old spectrum mag's "Crash" style typeface and if I remember correctly it had "The best of retro magazines" written underneath!

Also there isnt any freebie of any kind and the price tag made my missus gasp lol

By looking at the retro gamer site their anthology magazine looks compelely different in design to the one I saw today!

It was like picking up an old crash magazine from the 80's, its what caught my eye out of all the other hundreds of pc mags.

There isnt anyway around this other than to go and buy one tomorrow and scan the cover for you peeps to see! maybe this is a new magazine? maybe its not but its defo got alot of reading material in it
