@Chucky
I registered Sprint and I am going to start with a simple pcb. I can see how you sand down the top and bottom layers of a blank PCB and trace over the tracks. How do you route the inside layers of a 4 layer board when you can't see them? |

If you in the board properties set the board to "multilayer" you will get the extra layers

True. I think I will do a tutorial some day..
but: SANDPAPER sand off all copper.. then sand until you see traces again!.. YAY!.. or first you do top and bottom layers. and on noncoinnected vias etc. bring your multimeter and check |

Wondering if you made any progress on the A36x0 RAM adapter? Just curious if there was any status update or is it just stalled until you level up?

Thank-you that is the one I grabbed.
what is the difference between that (MMULib) and Mu680x0Libs? the readme files appear to be the same or close to it? Last edited by Laine; 09 February 2019 at 04:02. Reason: spelling |

The Mu680x0lib package is just all the stuff needed for the 680x0 library. So the MMULib package has the full MMULib distribution with the Mutools, which might not have anything you particularly need right now but might save you another transfer to the Amiga later. But all you really need is the Mu680x0Libs. |

I was wondering, if we had one of these; https://www.ebay.com/itm/RAM-EXPANSI...MAAOSwIK9dRt4M to reverse engineer would that help the A3660 + ram project along? It would be nice to get some ram added. Just thinking out loud. |

I have 3 faulty A3640's for parts. I also have a few of Chucky's rev 3.3.2 A3640 blank PCBs. I have a hot air station as well as a nice desoldering station. Can I just transfer all of the components over to the new board or should I order all new "birdseed"?
Some of the components are pretty small. Will they survive being transplanted? It seems like it would be easier to keep track of where everything goes if I did it one by one. Does there exist a BOM for the 3.3.2 board? Any thoughts are appreciated. At this point I have 3 Amiga 4000D's and only one working A3640 with really old caps. I really need to get going on this before I get any older lol. Last edited by Magic; 19 January 2020 at 00:29. |

The ceramic caps and resistors might not survive the transfer without cracking. The electrolytic caps of course must all be new when fitted..
