PCMCIA SRAM card emulation?

I'm using the latest WinUAE beta (1.5.1b5) but I can't find the option to emulate the PCMCIA SRAM card. Where is it?

I'm waiting for a real PCMCIA SRAM card for my A600 and it would be great to test some WHDLoad games with WinUAE before it arrives

Thanks in advance.

Click "Add Harddrive", select the card, select "SCSRAM" "HD controller".

Then, do I need a real card connected to the PC? I thought that it could be emulated after reading the changelog:

Create hardfile (size of hardfile = size of SRAM card) and select "SCSRAM" controller.

Make sure you emulate A600 or A1200 hardware (advanced chipset must have PCMCIA enabled) and you have A600 or A1200 Kickstart ROM. (A4000 ROM does not have PCMCIA driver)

That worked! Many thanks.

But there is a little problem, it only works if FastRam > 0. If FastRam is disabled in the RAM settings, the emulated A600 seems to reset forever

Hmm.. It seems A600 puts some code to SRAM card (if it is empty) and SRAM emulation does not support code execution from PCMCIA memory area. (stupid me, of course you need code execution support if PCMCIA SRAM is used as a RAM expansion.. Will be fixed in next beta)
