A quick first try, but I dont know if its such a good idea to play Arcade, as I didnt even reach the second level.

Hint: You must shoot both rockets at 1-2 to bring their shield down. Pay attention to the enemy shield bar.

I'm not a huge fan of this. What could have been great fun has been made annoying by poor design... move forward a few inches, fight, move forward a few inches, fight... and then status info at the top of the screen, which hides enemies attacks, when theres a huge black space at the bottom

Then, there is little reward for getting further (other than points, and a shield recharge once you complete half a level). There should have been some way to earn extra lives and recharge the shield during the action.

i was really dissapointed with the ending on this i was expecting alot more,and it dident go back to the beginning after the rather short animation.

final,final score 495,950.

after all that i really really really dont ever want to play this again,well for the next ten years anyway.

yep,when you take on level 1.2 shoot the rockets to lower the sheilds then when the rockets take off shot them both to take them out.

on level 2.2 (this was the hardest one for me)you have to take out the tank like foe the hardest part is taking out the ramp that shoots out the flyiers the only way to do this is to shoot the flyers and shoot the ramp as flyer come out.
EDIT:take out the tracks first as it rams you.

on level 3.2 after hitting the weak points you have to take the crane driver,you can only do this while he is picking up junk(he trys to drop it on your head!) and the window opens for you(twice, while looking for junk and dropping it).this is when you shoot the driver.

on level 4.2 you take out all the men then shoot parts of the ship(lower back,front lower) then a hatch will open(its the hatch you shoot) and you let loose with the cannon,you will have to take out the little men as you do this.
the most enoying part of this level(4.2) is the teleporting men.


and use the minigun in bursts,try to plan you way through the game it only sends enemys when you step forward after each wave.

good luck this is really hard.

yep i have memories of mashing the keyboard on my 600 in a temper on this game... last time i had a quick bash was about a year ago and i made it to level 2, died horribly and put it down again

yep, sweaty palms are abound with this one.i nearly crushed one of the microswitches in my mouse playing this
