Catweasel MK IV

Can the Catweasel make a disk image of an original amiga disk with copy protection ?

and I was wondering... ( sorry for hijacking ) with an amiga disk in the drive.. can WinUAE boot from it ?? so you can use real Amiga disks with Winuae?

For this moment Catweasel just supports adf files and the standard Amiga disk format, but not any copy protection scheme. Maybe there will be an update that supports different copy protection schemes.

With the controller in my Pc,i can write .adf files to my standard Pc floppy disk drive.....yes ?

Are these the latest drivers for mk IV ? ( CWMK40109.zip ) does anyone know ?

should be getting mine delivered this week

Booting directly from floppy in winuae is not implemented on the actual version. Hope it's get implemented soon.

yeah me too.. although I haven`t got it working in an emulated WB enviroment yet either
The link on winuae.net for the prefs program seems to link to the cat and .info file.. which is the dos driver isn`t it ?

Ask Jens for updated driver (including 64-bit Windows driver, my main devel pc is winxp64 + bug fixes like random bluescreens during booting..) and updated Catweasel core.

I can't do nothing until new core and driver is available and I don't want to bother with it anymore until I see some proof that there will be updated drivers and core in future..
