Sega Treamcast LE-Black
One of the last ones out of HK I've seen. I will include car adaptor, US power supply (controller upon request).
So the Treamcast is a high quality clone of the dreamcast, scaled down and a screen added. All dreamcast accesories will work on this system. Unlike the white version, this one boasts a higher resolution screen, it will play burned games like all dreamcasts will and it has a nice orange and black case. These have been sold out for a long time at many retailers and many more were seized at customs so this is one of the few that survived. My asking price is $200 plus postage. International orders are welcome, but special arrangements will need to be made. |

Does it have a VGA output?
Does it have some kind of composite output? Can it play PAL games? Can it play NTSC-USA games? Can it play NTSJ-JAPAN games? |

I already have an NTSC USA Dreamcast that I bought for $50.00. What would be the advantage of buying the Treamcast?

It is more portable, it comes with a car power socket for car playing, it is completely region free and it can use all dreamcast accesories. It also is extremely rare and can play burned video games too.

I am not a dreamcast expert. What does being "completely region free" mean for me?

It means you can play any game made for it without modification, eg you could play a game imported from japan without a bootdisk and it would play fine on the screen (Countries can have incompatible tv signals). PAL Games will also play fine on it by extension

On which type of screen do I need to use to get perfect playback?
My LCD VGA monitor? My 1084S? My CRT multisync monitor? ??? The pal/ntsc/ntsc-J issues of Dreamcast confuse me a lot I understand pal/ntsc issues of Amiga perfectly. |
