Playing CD32 Games that have Wav files Included?
I recently acquired some CD32 game images which are iso, cue and wav files, I have WinUAE setup correctly to play CD32 and done this successfully with the usual bin & cue, so my question is when using these games with extra wavs what do I do with them? just have them extracted along with the bin/cue in a folder and mount as usual or do they need to be burnt to cd and run through WinUAE that way?

Funny how history repeats itself, as would say lilalurl.
Some burning software offering virtual CD devices are more competent than others, at least when it comes to WinUAE loading such ISOs. My favorite being Alcohol 120°, since the top notch virtual drive would remains there, even after the trial period had expired. in WinUAE, the HDD panel must be "empty", and in misc. settings, uaescsi set to SPTI, and unticked. Worms would require one of the latest betas to work properly. Finally, some CD32 games (Figthin' Spirit, Gunship 2000), but not the majority by far would work from within the Workbench. and use the CD32 QuickConfig (did I say that or was it someone else ? ) |
