CDTV Keyboard blank keys

Hey guys,

I recently bought a new CDTV keyboard and when it showed up, I noticed the weirdest thing. There are two blank keys. My old CDTV KB is in storage back in the USA, to I can't compare to it. The keys are the ones to the left of "Z" and o the right of "#/@" The KB looks to be in great shape so I don't think they were rubbed off. (See pic below)

So gang... what is supposed to be on these keys. Anyone have a good hi-res of another CDTV KB? Is this common?

Thanks,

Canyon Matt

The original (US?) CDTV keyboards did not have these blanks. They had a bigger LEFT SHIFT and a bigger RETURN key.

This seriously pissed off a few people recently who accidentally bought the older type CDTV keyboards with the intention of transferring them to their A1200's and the keys didn't fit.

Thanks, seems like it must be a Euro KB then, which would make sense, as my old set was an original US that I got in 1991.

Those keys are important. Else I'd have to press alt to get <> and '*. :-)

And judging by the UK PC keyboards I've used lately, you too need those keys in a PC. The Amiga key layout for UK didn't have them for some reason.

There is no ~ and no ' on the main Amiga keyboard. That's the only symbols missing I think?
