Nice sketch! That is almos what I was thinking

But with perfect measuring I don't think that I would need the "stoppers" the shelves them self would be just tight enough to stop them from falling...

And of course this would be in a game room where the window is sun-blocked!

Nice in theory, but there will be some slight differences in the boxes so some of them may scratch and some of them won't hold. maybe a smaller cross panel which you can remove to hold them in place? (<5mm over hang top and bottom).
I can't believe we are talking about a theoretical shelf for a house you don't have in such detail.

How about a white steel plate on the entire wall and put magnets in the boxes which are held shut with some invisble masking tape?
Note; remove the disks first

Yes but it's nice to be prepared
And of course I would have to measure the boxes and have different standards for the difference in size of the boxes... Anyway this is my dream to have it like that it would as you say be the best wallpaper in the world!!!

The magnet idea could work too.. But next step it to make room for at least 1 more shelf, as things are getting really cramped up there...

Another thing. ~50 more games since my last Youtube video.. I'll have to make a new one soon. And I don't like updating, so will shoot a completely new one.. I think I will find some way to secure the camera, and have the boxes more prepared. The video will have to be short so just a quick tour will have to do.

Scrap all I said above
You could do as you've shown if you have a thin layer of foam (window insulation or similar) running either side of the shelves, this will take out the slight intolerances in the boxes, stop them from being scratched and also hold them in place. The foam layer can also be thickened if required for ones a bit smaller.

The shelf wouldn't even need to be thick it could be a piece of 90 bent steel so you would hardly see the gap (or was that your original plan was anyway?)

Agreed do that (when you buy a new place in a few years)

I deserve all the praise I get of course, but this is nothing compared to the impressions Spectrum and early PC games offer for example. That should give medals .

Could you (if that's not too complicated) make it so that the new games are shown at the start or at the end? Or if you plan to check HOL on your own disregard that request of course

I uploaded another batch of screenshots, two of the included X68000 ports (Phantasie III and Genghis Khan) are not yet listed in the conversion hardware field. I'll later make a general conversion note thread where I'll be posting additions, actually unreleased ports etc.

It is an excitement-powered scanner?
I guess the owner uses it mostly to scan kinky magazines then.

This would look great but you's need a lot of wall space, probably a warehouse in your case
Looks a bit similar to an existing IKEA product actually.

They might be useful for this, although they don't stop the boxes from tipping out. You'll also spend a small fortune buying 100 of these, and it'll take forever to drill 300 holes and put these up..
