Happy My Excel list of crack/trainer EXE's

Jobs done, all 1143 of them and everything has been renamed according to TNC for TOSEC. Every single file has been run in WinUAE which has been quite a task to perform.

I have created a list of everything I own in Excel and I have included all the crc32 for every file. Here's a screenshot :-

The abbreviations in Green are Proven, Orange need proof, where two groups use the same abbreviation, there is an added note of explaining which group cannot use it.

For my own purposes, I have added the character '^' to the end of any dates that are either approximate or need confirmation (265 of them). So to all the TNC guys, they're not there to stay. All dates that are 19xx are those that I/we cannot find any dates for (198 of them), I have also added [Config XXXX] (the [more info] flag) so that we all know which config to use to run them (75 of them) Anything without it will run on the A500 most common config.

I'm hoping my list is of some use, especially to Pouet.net, Bitworld, Break's Demo Scene Collection and Exotica, as I already know that I have stuff that none of these sites have.

The accuracy of product names in the list are all relative to the actual Crack, Intro or trainer description, so some of them may need a little adjustment, but that'll have to be done at a later stage.

For those who don't and won't use a spreadsheet, I will create something more basic for you to use, like wordpads .rtf format, but you'll have to wait a little bit for that, as I'm sick of the sight of it all, as you can imaging

EDIT: If you haven't got Excel go to TCD's post in this thread for some luscious linkies to help you view the spreadsheet http://eab.abime.net/showpost.php?p=716260&postcount=11

Great amount of work you have there, if you need something just ask!
This probably will help me too, no? I really need to sort out the problems in my tool until it is usable :P

Good work. You could also share on Google Docs for the people that don't have Excel.

^ I don't know if people want Google to track them, but this is a newer Excel format that is incompatible with older ones.

Ooops! Forgot about compatibility between versions :s

Anyway, there's now a 97-2003 version up for grabs in my first post

Just ask TCD, he knows how long I've been working on it. I lost all sense of time during the checking process, so I can't remember when I even started it.

Thanks TCD

Apparently, I have missed some Abbreviations out from my list, it's not that important, but it shouldn't of happened.

Besides, it's a list of the cractros etc that I have and not an official list of groups and abbreviations. I will correct it some day

For all those who don't have Excel, you can use the Excel Viewer instead (or OpenOffice of course )

If WinUAE cannot detect your supposedly empty HDD, look for zap.exe or wipe.exe. fmcpma support.WinUAE 5 08 August 2006 00:35
