Only Japanese version and it's easy to use in this language. Game have nice animations on tiles, very good music and gameplay isn't boring (not too much or too less tiles to solve).

Well my mother is a big Mahjongg solitaire freak, and she likes Kyodai the most.

I liked Shanghai from Activision. I remember I played it many times... and against friends I'll never forget the sound for the expiring time! Now the WHDLoad version is available. It's a simple game, to try if you don't know it.

My favourite version (mainly for nostalgic reasons) is Dragon Tiles on the Amiga : nice clear tile set, good range of tile patterns and quite a catchy little title screen music

Why whdload for shanghai? It runs perfectly in multitasking under any cpu and any workbench version.. You just need the font in fonts: and an assign to shanghai: before you start the game.
