Thanks Zzbylu. I noticed that every time you picked up a mine, it instantly put it down again? Per-Ola Eriksson reported a similar bug (possibly something to do with use of a Mega Drive pad).

I might still be able to solve it. Are you able to share with me your configuration? (emulated or real, which hardware and controllers etc. If you're on winuae, can you send me your configuration file?)

At the start when you drop a mine with 2nd fire button it drops then explodes seconds later... is there another part where you pickup mines?

Mines are picked up from random powerup spawns during the course of the game (the mines you can pick up look identical to the mines you can drop, which can be mildly confusing)

earok : any tip for configuring my multi-button "hori fighting stick mini" with this SE ? looks like only one button is available when you select "joystick".
Anyway, game is more enjoyable now (a bit more easy but not too much) Thanks.

Manual states secondary button is Keyboard ALT , so just remap the key to a fire button on your joystick..

I had a try with amigalive.com 2 days ago. Well, I didn't like the game much, but in the meantime earok fixed even more bugs (like this "dying enemies jump down"), so I would give it a try again. Hope John will update the amigalive.com version soon.

So, thanks for our great work, earok!!!

Just a heads up - I may be releasing one final final version that might fix an issue on some controllers (Mega Drive pads?) with dropping bombs, just waiting to hear if my fix has actually resolved the issue.

This might not even affect emulation so if you're not having a problem with dropping bombs, no need to update.

The current version literally just now been updated on AmigaLive

For the chronicles: i did the title song in a hard techno-punk style that i think suits better the carnage mood of the game, if there was a way to put in-game music would go the same route

Posted the (hopefully) final final update which resolves bugs with Mega Drive pads. Thanks to Wepl and Ross for advice, and Per-Ola Eriksson for testing.

Edit: And Per-Ola Eriksson did a longplay! He somehow managed to get through it without hitting the game over screen.

Looks great! Bombs don't work with Sega Genesis (3 button) gamepads IF they are not changed to CD32 controller in the play options. I'm using real hardware on a PAL CD32.

Droping mines perfectly with second button now (remaped to 'Left ALT' - not working with 'Right ALT')

Heya earok,

One thing I noticed with the hard drive version was that the music was slightly messed up when compared with the CD32 version...

Seems it doesn't like Fast RAM; this will be an issue for most hard drive users.

Eep, that was an embarrassing bug. It should be fixed now with the latest (hopefully final final final) build.
