CPU Test -Project X-

Something small that i found today. This guy is showing what happens to a Pentium or Athlon CPU when you remove the fan. But listen to the tune that is playing in the background.

Wicked tune

Heh .. i know all too well what happens to a (1.4) AMD when it loses its cooler.

I'd had mine 1 day and all was well, until i started playing carmageddon (i think it was) on it, i heard the board monitor alarm go off then a 'fufff' sound and a black screen, coupled with a hideous burning metal smell. It turns out the idiot who put it together for me had not used the thermal grease stuff between the cpu and cooler, and not locked the cooler down onto the board. I got my £200 back tho and bought a intel p4 1.8 instead which was a perfect cpu for a coupla years. (now i've a AMD again .. dc 4400+ with perfect cooling (although i'm upgrading soon))
