Can't get any mp3's to play with it bLAZER mate, it just freezes with the usual Win7 "BZR Player has stopped working, Windows is checking for a solution to the problem..." etc.
Other than that, work |

Thanks Blazer. you have a large community of fans now!
Mate, I still have the problem when playing a song from my laptop's loudspeaker then plugin my eadphones jack, the sound still comes out of my laptop's loudspeakers. As if it would not detect the headphones. The only cure is to close BZR then launch it again. Only then will it play through my headphones. I don't have that problem with any other programs. Hi
GREAT Addition Blazer... it is really good. However some songs have problems with sub-tunes it seems. They don't play the first tune in the sub-tune list but play the rest OK. Some, that have only 1 subtune, of course don't play at all. Here are some of these (I can upload all the rest if needed too) : http://pc.sux.org/tomcat/nw.zip |

seems there is a few that tries to play but doesn't, using the latest build.
All of them uses UADE. tw.ingame loads, but doesn't play, and crashes the player. Most load but there is no sound. Another thing I found is that sometimes the Player will crash going from one format to the next, Especially from AHX to another format Last edited by kkgarbod; 12 January 2020 at 09:09. |

Hi guys. Thanks for the feedback!
@kkgarbod I don't get any crashes with those files here. FlimbosQuest and PostmanPat plays, although the first subsong is silent. The other files are silent. @tomcat666 Yes, there is something wrong with subsongs. Many files gets an extra silent subsong. And sometimes all are silent. @Crown I'll look into that. It's just that it's a boring feature... and to test it I'll have to plug in and out my own headphones = lot of work @jimmy2x2x: Tfx, or rather TFMX files are supported, all of them I think. It's just that UADE is very picky about the file names when it comes to some formats. So at the moment to be sure that TFMX works they have to be named mdat.titlemusic_blabla and smpl.title_music_blabla @DH: Works fine for me. Probably something I f-ed up, usually memory leaks. Might be the same thing that crashes when switching among formats. So I'll dig around some and when I have fixed some thing I can let you guys test it. |

This is one helluva update Blazer. Thank you.
Btw is anyone else having problems with Tim Follin format ? Ghouls 'n' Ghosts downloaded from Exotica doesn't seem to play ball. [edit] Nevermind, I had to select a different subsong. Last edited by Retroplay; 04 November 2014 at 21:58. |

I think I fixed most of the subsongs and silent songs issues. So try the new codec_uade.dll and tell me if there's anything that doesn't work.
@kkgarbod: All of your attached files should now work, except tw.ingame, and that crashes in UADE too. @acd2001: Thanks, some of those files work now though. I'll take a look at the rest. |

@acd2001 Most of those songs doesn't work in UADE either. Some of them plays in xmplay though, I'm guessing most of them are corrupt. Do you know what kind of format .sam is?

I can't get NoisePacker v1 modules to play, the attached mod is tested working in EaglePlayer 2.01, but no dice in BZRPlayer (libxmp).
NoisePacker v2 modules works great though (e.g Miami Chase). Last edited by Retroplay; 11 September 2016 at 00:17. |

Wow Blazer - that was a great fix - almost everything works now.... only a few ones dont:
.MA files (Monty On the run 2, Thanatos) .JPND files (Uridium 2 - these crash BZR Player completely) SuperHangOn_Loader - cust song Here they are zipped: http://pc.sux.org/tomcat/nw2.zip Note: Only Uridium2 ones don't play in XMPlay others play fine there. Hey bLAZER!
This is a great bit of software - I've downloaded a few old favourites from exotica and thoroughly enjoyed listening to them again. Thanks! Two quick questions for you, if I may: 1. When I load a song/file using the 'eject' icon (says Open file, when you hover over it) or if I load a song/file via the 'add' button in the playlist window, BZR Player crashes with the message 'BZR Player has stopped working. Windows can check online for a solution to the problem.' The odd thing is when I drag and drop the exact same files onto BZR Player, they work perfectly... Has anyone else seen this? Or is it just my PC..?! I'm on Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit, if that helps? 2. Have you any plans to implement outputting to mp3 or maybe wav format? I'd love to be able to convert some of these non-mod formats to mobile phone ringtones. Just a thought, and thanks again! Simon. |

Thanks again for all the feedback.
Here's a new update that fixes subsongs even more (Music Assembler now works again etc.) There is already output to wave in real time. In Settings/General change output to WAV Writer and restart program and play. |

I don't think I've ever tested any NoisePacker v1 before, obviously this one doesn't work very well. I've submitted an error report to the author of libxmp.
