Yesterday I saw at A-Org that you could also use http://www.modules.pl/. Nice if you can.

Edit: I've just made an icon-script for it: http://eab.abime.net/showpost.php?p=1032040&postcount=6

Thanks tygre.
Thanks!
I believe that it should work on MorphOS, I will give it a try! Have you had a chance to try yourself?

Cheers!

Thanks a lot!

I use it while I code I press "6" frequently

It should not use more ChipMem than necessary for the player to play the module...

Cheers!

BTW: Might be worth mentioning that you need to start the RexxMast tool in Workbench, but most users probably figure that out themselves.
Indeed, I will update the description!

Absolutely, that's a feature that I want to implement but it will only play with some players (for example MultiPlayer does not allow knowing if a module is playing or not) and I have still to learn how to do "polling" and multitasking...

Cheers!

Yes, definitely! I'd like to integrate the ratings

Lol. You know it's impossible to read your post, download the image, switch to the amiga, make the icon, compress it, upload to EAB and answer you in 2 minutes

After posting I've thought that that was the icon you wanted. I've searched the image with transparency googling and I've used "IconMaker" (Fpu needed) on AKReal/Utilities. IconMaker is a great program by James that he made with some scripts of him, Ken Lester and me. If you ever need an icon it's the perfect program.

Tygre I've made this other with a blue glow.

Sorry I was experimenting now with the libraries and it was looking different. I prefer the first.

ftp://ftp.modland.com/ could also be used perhaps ? - very large archive of modules in various formats including >76000 protracker mods.

Excellent idea! I must confess that I did not know modland.com, I plan that the next version of AmiModRadio (this coming week!) should support modland.com and modules.pl in addition to Aminet

Cheers!

Yes, we all are interested in this. Do you think you will be able to add the MUI screen with buttons for the next release? That would be nice. Your program also has to open and use Hip for example, hidden. Surely the mui option should be an option for those that don't want it.

Thanks a lot for your support and encouragements

I wanted to release a new version this past week-end but time passed too fast... I have integrated AmigaAmp (for /mods/mpg) and I am currently integrating ftp.modland.com (because it essentially requires the same FTP client and logic than Aminet, modules.pl will require a HTTP client).

So, please bear with me one more week: next week's release should should be with the MUI interface working Other features will be for the coming weeks after that (opening HippoPlayer...)

Cheers!

PS. Just made an intermediate checkout: AmiModRadio now supports AmigaAmp (see /mods/mpg)and all its current features are implemented (including listing banned items and saving current modules).

Hi all!

I have just released a new version of AmiModRadio, which now supports other sources of modules in addition to Aminet: it supports ftp.modland.com (because it was easy to implement, having FTP access). In the future, it will support local disks and HTTP sites, like modules.pl. It also uses the icon made by Retrofan (thanks again!)

Next milestone: implementing the MUI user-interface!

In the meantime, suggestions and bug reports are always welcome!

Cheers!
