2018 CD32 collection

UPDATE:

V2 (likely the final version) is out, with two new games.

In regards to Coco Banana Xmas now being on the disc - I know there's been a lot of controversy surrounding that game and Amiten lately, and I want to stay out of that.

The way I see it, the disc is simply a collection of games (or supporting demos) released in 2018. If you want to play any of the games on the disc, you're welcome to - or otherwise don't, it's over to you.

If you've got anything to say on the matter, there is a thread dedicated to the topic in the Off Topic forum, I'd prefer you stick to that.

I couldn't get it working for some reason.. something to do with wanting to run from floppy? I could take another look later. (Though if someone can provide an HDD/CD compatible version, I could chuck it on)

Ok, I'll talk with Birra or Tom to check and fix it.

Barbarian starts and plays smootly on the real thing. Be advised that you need a proper keyboard to enter the hi-scores table. Or the reset button .
Nice compilation btw!

Wow... Why do you keep asking for the game mate? Working ADF images could be found on google in 2 seconds.

I think Coco Banana Xmas demo is completely okay for this. Shame there can not be Trap Runner and Starquake (for technical reasons).

HEY I NEVER GAVE AUTHORIZATION to let Santa Chaos appear on any compilation.

Just Kidding

I should remember to always keep my games CD32 friendly and not require keyboard to work.

I don't have a CD32, but I guess for who owns it, those compilations are awesome

Haha @Shatterhand you had me worried for a minute. I'm more than happy to remove any games at the request of the developers though.

I think, with the kind of game it is, a mouse wouldn't really work. Though, Blitz does (for whatever reason) have support for rotational joysticks, so maybe it is the kind of game that'd work with a C64 or 2600 paddle?

Regarding Block Off - I haven't added any games that don't have Lemon Amiga pages. All the games here are either full games or demos of full (and released) games.

Just to make a note here that Pong4k is demo. We're still working on it. And that in this compilation there are no cdda soundtracks cause of lack of space on cd.

I need to do the same. You can change the graphics in K C Munckin by pressing the space bar during play. So unless Earok has updated the code it won't be available on CD32.

Happy to do at least one more update on this if anyone wanted to CD32-ise their games!

@Gaz The game is open source? I could maybe add CD32 pad support for all of the keys.

@Shatterhand - I was just thinking that adding shoulder button support (move the bucket left/right with the shoulder buttons rather than the dpad) might be a cool feature for Santa Chaos on CD32. Though still, with the style of game it is, it may not work particularly well.

The Kiwi's Tale is having tracker music added, when that's all finished I'll put that version on the disc alongside the CDDA music for Pong 4K (there's just enough space to fit the music I think. Re: Pong 4K, I didn't realise it was a demo so I'll update the menu accordingly)
